After a tumultuous last twelve months for the land-based bingo industry, and with reopenings just weeks away, it's time to start looking ahead to getting back and playing our beloved game of bingo.

The bingo industry, including BingoDaily, is coming together to help celebrate the reopenings and give us all a nice lift when we return. The first-ever UK National Bingo Day announced earlier in March confirmed for Sunday 27th June, has launched its new website and logo here: https://nationalbingoday.co.uk/

The official stamp will be appearing on bingo websites and at venues across the UK supporting National Bingo Day over the coming months.

National Bingo Day has traditionally been celebrated in the United States for a number of years, (also on the same date) but has failed to really get any attention from us Brits. This despite bingo's popularity within our shores., deeply ingrained in British culture. The UK bingo licensed industry felt that the game played by millions deserved a day of celebration in the UK too.

Supported by The Bingo Association, online and retail bingo operators come together for the first time to celebrate and promote our treasured game of bingo. Even long-standing rivals Mecca Bingo and Buzz Bingo, the UK's two largest bingo operators, have joined forces to ensure that National Bingo Day is being given the best opportunity to establish itself as an annual event to look forward to.

Miles Baron, Chief Executive of The Bingo Association said:

“National Bingo Day will celebrate all the elements of bingo – fun, entertainment and a sense of togetherness. We want everyone to be a part of it and with the easing of restrictions after lockdown everyone is in need of some safe fun: what better way to celebrate than playing the great game of bingo.”
