Lockdown Brings the Return of Online Charity Bingo

Whilst England, Northern Ireland and much of Scotland endure a national lockdown, once again, the UK bingo community is excelling itself.

The weather may not be good enough for games of street bingo, but that hasn't stopped the fun or the charity raising.

All summer BingoDaily reported on street bingo games raising thousands of pounds for great causes. One Warrington based bingo event stood out due to the huge total raised.

St Rocco’s “lockdown bingo”, organised by Chris Forster, son of Warrington Rugby League legend Mark Forster, raised an incredible £23,432.82 with games of online bingo earlier this year.

Now, on Saturday, 21st November, Chris is doing it all over again.

Played live on the Facebook page – “Chris Forster Events”, the online bingo event is making a welcome return, again in aid of St Rocco's Hospice. Chris said:

“As always we will have some fantastic prizes for the FREE Raffle we do which is included in your ticket price and would love to see people at home in their fancy-dress costumes again.”

“I am doing the bingo again whilst we are going into another lockdown mainly to try and support the Hospice again in these horrible times but also to help people have something to look forward to, following the success last time out I have received numerous messages asking me if I was doing it again which is a good start so hopefully everyone will get involved and do their bit to support St Rocco’s.”

Tickets available from the Facebook page.
