Club 3000 Wigan After all the doom and gloom of Majestic Bingo calling in administrators, it's good to have some positive bingo news coming from another independent retail bingo operator.
Club 3000 Bingo which recently opened its state-of-the-art bingo hall in Blackpool, enjoyed a triple celebration at its Wigan venue this week.
As the popular bingo club in Lancashire celebrates its second birthday this week, one lucky regular managed to call ‘House' playing the National Bingo Game, winning herself a cool £50,000 in the process. If that wasn't enough to celebrate, it was also the lady's birthday – making it a triple whammy celebration at Club 3000 Bingo Wigan.
The jubilant winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a regular at the Club 3000 venue since it opened, often visiting with her husband twice a week every week. Having been an avid bingo player for years, she gave herself a birthday present to remember whilst celebrating being 79 years young at the club.
Still undecided on what to do with the life-changing amount, the delighted dabber said:
“I never thought I'd win the big prize. I love coming to the club. It is like one big family. I just love everything about bingo – and the wonderful staff at this club who are always so welcoming”
Birthday Week at Wigan
Club 3000 Wigan Manager, Alex Whitmore added:
“We were all so excited to celebrate her birthday with such a huge win. Yet again the atmosphere in the club was electric, everyone was so happy for our winner, and all the customers and staff celebrated with her, we can’t wait for the party where she will officially receive her presentation cheque for £50,000!
We have many exciting things planned for our upcoming birthday week. On Saturday Evening, 29th July, there will be a special Bubby reception with a fabulous Live Band, “3 Steps to Heaven” playing after a special Big Money Bingo Session.
