PlayOJO, the popular online casino and bingo operator, has partnered with Neccton to launch a new responsible gambling tool aimed at helping customers control their gambling behaviour.
The new tool named SafeMate enables users to track how much money they have deposited and wagered as well as player data, detects risk patterns, changes in behaviour, and flags signs of potential problem gambling. The tool developed in collaboration with behavioural scientists and psychologists tells users how long exactly they have spent on the PlayOJO site over the last six months.
The Safe Mate tool will give users a health score and notify them when their playing habits change.
Peter Bennett, Head of Brand at PlayOJO said of the partnership:
“We are delighted to partner with Neccton to offer our players this state-of-the-art new Safer Gambling tool,”
“We pride ourselves on being the fair online Casino and Bingo site and will continue to find new innovative methods and tools to help promote safe play for our customers.”
PlayOJO users in the UK, Sweden, and Spain, and Sweden will be able to access the Safe Mate tool as well as several other responsible gambling features including 24/7 support, account self-assessments, time limits, and affordability checks.
PlayOJO casino launched in 2017 and the PlayOJO bingo site was launched last year, quickly establishing itself as one of the best new bingo sites of 2020. The brand bills itself as ‘fair' and has sought to strengthen its market position by providing the ‘fairest proposition’ to its users.
For Neccton, the partnership with PlayOJO is the latest cooperation with a betting and gaming operator. As well as providing player monitoring and problem gambling prevention services, the company also works to combat money laundering and fraud.
In December last year, London-based Neccton partnered with leading UK gambling firm Entain (formerly GVC Holdings), the operator of the top bingo sites Gala Bingo and Foxy Bingo.
