Just 11 days after reopening following the four-month lockdown, the popular bingo venue in Stockport enjoyed a party atmosphere after a flabbergasted lady called ‘house'.
The life-changing win of £50,000 on the National Bingo Game Jackpot, which links up bingo halls up and down the country every afternoon for live games, could not have come at a better time for the player who wishes to remain anonymous. Recently, her husband was made redundant from his job and they are also in the process of moving house.
The ecstatic winner said:
“It couldn’t have come at a better time as my husband has just been made redundant and we are moving house. Thank you to all the staff at Buzz Bingo Stockport, I really do enjoy my time there. My mum was an avid bingo player herself and I feel she is looking over me.”
Her fellow bingo-goers at the Buzz Bingo venue in Newbridge Lane, erupted into cheers to celebrate, creating a party-like atmosphere and an evening the long-time bingo player will never forget.
The win at the Buzz Bingo Stockport club means that Buzz Bingo clubs, many of which are opening today, have claimed two National Game Jackpot winners in the space of just a few days. Just two days earlier, Buzz Bingo Gateshead saw a jackpot winner.
