The winner who wishes to remain anonymous shouted house at the Buzz Bingo Metro Centre in Gateshead. The win was celebrated by the other bingo players who cheered and clapped when ‘house' was called.
The winner of the life-changing amount said:
“When the caller said I'd won £50k I couldn't believe it! I've never been on holiday abroad so I'm going to book a holiday, pay off my mortgage and car, and treat my kids and grandkids”
The popular bingo venue had only been open for a week before the win. It was the first time that the Buzz Bingo Metro Centre in Gateshead had a National Bingo Game Jackpot winner since May 2019.
