Dabbers Bingo With restrictions now eased and a hint of sun breaking through the clouds, thoughts are turning towards upcoming bingo events.
Thanks to the team at Dabbers, Bingo is once again being played at Dreamland in Margate after a 14-year hiatus. And what a venue to play in. The legendary amusement park and entertainment centre has been an epicentre for traditional seaside fun for just over a century. Having relaunched in 2017, Dreamland experienced its best-ever year in a pre-pandemic 2019, with over 700,000 visitors.
Dabbers Dreamland Margate
Starting tomorrow, Friday 4th June, Dabbers will be taking over the Margate Dreamland’s beautiful Roller Disco room for their Family Bingo Show, consisting of three games Animal Bingo ( numbers are calls replaced by animal riddles) ‘Express’ ( a fast-paced game), and Musical Bingo ( London’s ultimate interactive club night in which numbers are swapped with tunes).
Then, when the sun goes down, it’s Jackpot Bingo and Dabbers’ flagship even that has welcomed more than 55,000 guests enjoying the ‘Dabbers way’ in its East London venue since it opened in 2018. Players get the chance to win cold hard cash, whilst enjoying lots of dancing, lots of disco balls, and lots of drama when the winners choose to stick or twist with their chosen prizes.
Dabbers is on a Beano!
Last year saw Dabbers adapt its own unique brand of bingo for the necessities of the new virtual world and the Dabbers crew kept Britain connected with its virtual bingo shows. Now, the Dabbers crew are on a Beano to Margate. In fact, Dreamland’s branding and aesthetic was actually a big influence in Dabbers’ own inception a few years ago. So, in what is something like a homecoming for Dabbers, founded by entrepreneur Ed Wethered and Jonny Unknown, the brains behind Musical Bingo, Gospeloke, and Comedy House Party, this is sure to be a very special event not to be missed.
And, if you can't physically make it to the venue, Dabbers will be streaming the events live via zoom so you join the fun from the comfort of your own sofa.
The fun is split into two ensuring there is something for everyone.
Dabbers Family Bingo Show
Dabbers Social Bingo heads to Dreamland for an afternoon of entertainment that is fun for all the family. Animal riddles replace bingo lingo and animal pictures replace numbers on the bingo cards. Participants solve the riddles and colour in their animals whilst learning some fun facts along the way.
Followed by a round of Bingo Bonanza, players dab off the numbers in between Disco Balls and fun family challenges. Finally, kids and parents can then get down and boogie with a bonus round of Musical Bingo.
