Whilst established retail bingo chains appear to be shedding their bingo venues like a snake sheds skin, (Buzz Bingo's Wallsend is the latest bingo hall with an uncertain future) Club 3000 Bingo, the UK's largest independent retail bingo operator, has announced the opening of a new state of the art bingo venue.
Following the recent confirmation that the highly-anticipated Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool venue will recieve a July 1st opening, Club 3000 has secured a 20-year lease for a new bingo venue within Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, Edinburgh.
Once the new club is built, Club 3000 Bingo will move from its current Edinburgh venue in Manderston Street to a new unit on the ground floor of the waterfront shopping centre.
Ocean Terminal offers a mix of retail, leisure and dining options as well as coffee shops, 24-hour Pure Gym, 12 screen Vue Cinema and Scotland's leading tourist attraction, The Royal Yacht Britannia.
The new bingo club will be situated at ground floor level, provides free car parking and has the tram stop and bus stops located opposite the entrance. The exciting new development will provide approximately 27,500 sq ft and will house a brand-new purpose-built state of the art bingo club at an estimated cost of £5 million.
