More than 30 delighted dabbers walked away with £1,500 each last week after one of the bingo regulars called ‘House' on the National Bingo Day community jackpot of £50,000.
The event was organised to recognise National Bingo Day, a once-a-year day that celebrates the wonderful world of bingo. As per the rules of the National Bingo Day event, the £50,000 was split between those playing at the Albion Square club. This meant that everyone at the club at the time of the win, got to leave with £1,500.
Buzz Bingo Hanley general manager Nicky Sanders said of the win:
“We love making winners and what a way to celebrate National Bingo Day with this community win. Overall, Buzz Bingo players win more than £2 million per week in bingo prize money and we’re so pleased we could mark such a special day with so many winners.”
The Buzz Bingo Hanley venue is a popular meeting point for Stoke on Trent locals. Formerly the Gala Hanley, the community jackpot prize of £50,000 won last week is the first big jackpot win at the bingo club for at least two years.
