Foxy Bingo has said it is considering redesigning its game later this year after millennials apparently demanded fresh phrases. The online bingo company polled its customers to get their preferred terms for a “millennial bingo” version of the game, which it is considering releasing later in the year
The idea of ‘woke bingo' originated from the Foxy Bingo website’s chat rooms, where bingo players would sometimes use alternatives instead of the traditional bingo calls. The website then surveyed its customers asking them to vote for their top 20 favourite new bingo calls after compiling a list of suggestions from the chatrooms.

Jonathan Bowden, a director at Foxy Bingo said:
“We're seeing a record number of younger players visiting the site to play bingo and the new wave of bingo calls is switching things up.”
“I'm sure it won't be long before Megxit is being used,”
Meanwhile, the potential change to the bingo calls isn't to everyone's liking. 12-time winner of Bingo Caller of the Year, Blake Robson, 54, who works in South Shields said that the new calls would not work for a traditional live bingo audience. Blake said:
“It would be a real shame to see traditional calls disappear.
“Rather than new calls, we should teach the younger generation about the old calls. Bingo is part of Britain’s tradition.”
