Dabbers Halloween 2026 Dabbers Social Bingo is set to host a Halloween-themed bingo experience in London this autumn, with What Lies Beneath taking place at its underground Houndsditch venue from October 20 to November 1, 2026.
The event will combine bingo with live entertainment and Halloween-themed activities, including fortune-telling, magic, comedy, drag, and a special musical bingo round.
Dabbers' Houndsditch venue is located in a large basement beneath street level. For the Halloween event, the venue will take on a Victorian-inspired East London setting, drawing on the area's history and folklore.
The event's title refers to the experience of descending beneath the streets of the City of London, as well as Houndsditch's history. The street's name comes from an ancient ditch that once ran alongside the London Wall.
HALLOWEEN BINGO AND LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
Guests can take part in traditional bingo alongside a Halloween-themed musical bingo round featuring songs associated with the season.
The event will also include live performances from magician Klaus Fantastiche, comedian Nerine Skinner and Drag King Fabio.
According to Dabbers, who hold the popular comedy bingo caller of the year contest, Fantastiche will bring magic and illusion to the event, while Skinner will provide character comedy and Fabio will contribute cabaret and drag performances.
Fortune telling will also be available before the bingo sessions, while guests can encounter additional surprises around the venue during the evening.
One of the activities will be the Trick or Treat Box, which invites guests to reach inside without knowing whether they will find a treat or something less welcome.
AN EAST END THEME
The production takes inspiration from an imagined Victorian East London populated by characters including pub landladies, rogues, revellers and other figures associated with the area's past.
Dabbers says the theme will also extend to the bingo calls, with Cockney rhyming slang incorporated into the traditional numbers.
The venue will be decorated to create what organisers describe as an atmospheric underground setting, with the physical journey down into the basement forming part of the overall experience.
DABBERS’ HALLOWEEN EVENT
What Lies Beneath is part of Dabbers Social Bingo's wider approach to combining bingo with other forms of entertainment.
The venue describes its events as a mixture of bingo, comedy, cabaret, music, audience participation and prizes, rather than a conventional UK bingo hall experience.
For the Halloween dates, that format will be adapted around the underground East End theme, with bingo taking place alongside the live performances and interactive elements.
Dabbers said in its event announcement:
“This Halloween, Londoners are invited to descend beneath the streets of the City and discover What Lies Beneath – a gloriously twisted underground bingo experience hidden inside Dabbers Social Bingo’s huge basement venue.”
The venue added:
“From the moment guests leave street level behind, they’ll enter a strange underground world filled with fortune telling, magic, comedy, drag, spooky music, trick-or-treat surprises and a distinctly dark take on Dabbers’ signature bingo.”
The event is scheduled for selected dates between October 20 and November 1, with tickets starting from £25 and including a cocktail on arrival.
