As most of the UK braces itself for a month-long lockdown, bingo fans are turning to the internet to enjoy a good game of bingo.

Over the summer, the bingo news was full of games of lockdown bingo, isolation bingo, balcony bingo and street bingo. The way the UK bingo community reacted to the coronavirus pandemic was admirable. Now, one enterprising set of gents – Jamie Allison and Fraser Milligan held an online Lockdown Bingo from Tapestry Virtual Studios, the company which they own, in Grangemouth, Scotland.

The popular online event held this weekend was held with the purpose of generating as money as possible for two charities providing vital services in desperate need of cash.

An incredible £3,307 was raised from the bingo evening, split between the two charities of their choice; the Children's Hospices Across Scotland and Strathcarron Hospice.

The event which included a fancy dress competition proved a massive success. In total, 28 prizes were won which Jamie and Fraser delivered themselves. Driving 133 miles over 8 hours, the two worked tirelessly to deliver the prizes, which included Avon goodies and other bath stuff.
