The winners, who wish to remain anonymous, called ‘House' playing the National Bingo Game which links up bingo clubs up and down the country in live bingo games.
The jubilant jackpot winners are regulars at the Mecca Bingo at Burton-on-Trent and love the game of bingo so much, that they travel around the UK playing bingo. However, after this recent life-changing win, the couple has no doubts about which is their favourite bingo club now.
The husband of the couple said of the win:
“My wife and I couldn't believe it when all my numbers came up and we realised I'd won the jackpot. We’ve played in various Mecca Bingo clubs over the years, but Burton will definitely go down as one of our favourites.”
