As if Preston isn't scary enough, the Lancashire city is about to get that little bit scarier. With Halloween just around the corner, we have some spooky UK bingo news to report.

A former Club 3000 bingo hall in Tithebarn Street, Preston city centre, now empty, is being turned into a house of horrors.

The abandoned building opposite the Bus station is set to reopen for six days beginning Friday 25th October and running until Thursday 31st October.

The ex-bingo venue will be renamed ‘Scream House' for those six days and will feature a whole host of special effects, scary themed areas, mazes and a licensed bar. Actors will also be present, playing terrifying monsters.

Open to both adults and children, tickets are available at £12.50 per adult and £6.50 for under 15s. Discounts are available for groups and students.

There child-friendly events being held at the ‘Scream House' on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st October.
