Aspire Global, the Stockholm-listed gaming operator specialising in sports betting and casino brands has been granted a bingo license by the UK Gambling Commission.
The iGaming specialist founded in 2005, is a publicly listed company on NASDAQ First North Premier Growth Market in Stockholm, Sweden whose primary market presence is in Europe, will be extending its UK-offering to bingo after an extension of its British iGaming license was granted by the UKGC. It will enable the company which has over 50 iGaming brands, to increase its market share in the UK by extending the B2B offerings to further fields within the iGaming sphere, as per the company's long-term growth plan.
Tsachi Maimon, CEO at Aspire Global said:
“Aspire Global is excited about the opportunity to extend our offering to current and potential partners in the UK. Having a broad license is a competitive advantage enabling us to gain market share in regulated markets, all in line with our long-term growth plan”
The UK is the most regulated gaming market in Europe and although many bingo brands have closed over the last 18 months, as we saw in the recent Mecca Bingo results reported by its owner the Rank Group Plc, there is still room for growth in the online bingo sphere.
Shares in Aspire Global plc (STO:ASPIRE) were trading lower, down 0.92 per cent at SEK32.40 per share in Stockholm on Friday morning.
