***Updated***

As 36 Mecca Bingo Clubs prepare to reopen on Thursday, July 4th, there is a growing demand to know what is happening with other bingo clubs.

At BingoDaily we get multiple requests every day asking us when bingo halls will reopen.

The good news is that Club 3000 have announced which of their clubs are reopening and when. The bad news is that big bingo club operators Buzz Bingo**, Majestic Bingo, Beacon Bingo, and Opera Bingo are still yet to announce reopening times.

Buzz Bingo and Beacon Bingo to Open Soon?

BingoDaily has tried to keep in constant contact with various bingo operators and it seems an announcement is imminent, at least with Beacon Bingo and Buzz Bingo, from correspondence we have had.

A PR spokesperson at Buzz Bingo told BingoDaily:

“Buzz Bingo are working on their reopening plans ensuring they do everything to keep their customers safe during these times. They can’t wait to reopen their doors and updates on all club reopening dates will be shared on their Facebook pages.”

At Beacon Bingo, detailed safety measures being prepared have been listed on the website, although no date has been announced yet on the website or on social media.

Sone of the Beacon Bingo safety measures include:

  • All venues are running at around 25-30% of their seating capacity to reduce the overall number of people in the venue.
  • Book purchases are available at most clubs and a simplified structure will be in place to improve the speed of the transaction.
  • There are 1 way systems and sanitiser stations provided around the venue.
  • There will be a phased approach to leaving the venue.

For members at Club 3000, it is a different story as the bingo operator announced a phased reopening. Opening the doors first will the Bristol and Stanley Park bingo venues. They will be followed by the Club 3000 Ellesmere Port site two days later. By the 9th of July, ALL remaining Club 3000 bingo halls in England are expected to reopen with restrictions.

For Scotland however, where many Club 3000 halls are located, bingo halls are expected to start opening on July 15th, although official confirmation is awaited and bingo fans there may have to make do with some online bingo for a wee while longer.

Club 3000 Reopening Times

Listed on the website are:

Club 3000 Bristol & Stanley Park will re-open on 4th July, 10.30am

Club 3000 Ellesmere Port will re-open on 6th July

All other Club 3000 bingo halls in England will open July 9th.

Club 3000 Founder, Brian Fraser, said in a statement on the website:

“We are delighted to welcome all our customers in England back to our clubs, we can’t wait for them to experience again the warm friendly service of all our teams and enjoy the wonderful game of bingo that we have all missed so much. We will continue to provide our customers with a first-class bingo experience, whilst adhering to the new guidelines in place, we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Club 3000 family.”

BingoDaily will update you as and when we know of any further bingo news.
