source: Google.com The Apollo Bingo in Barrow has announced a Christmas event featuring none other than the late 90's boy band ‘Five'.
Five (stylised as 5ive) now consisting of Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, and Scott Robinson will be heading to the Barrow bingo hall as part of their Christmas party event on December 4.
The group sold more than 1.6 million albums and 2.4 million singles in the UK alone with hits such as Everybody Get Up, Keep on Movin, Let's Dance, and When the Lights Go Out. Having formed in 1997, the group then disbanded in 2001. However, having reformed again for the second time in 2012, the first being in 2006 for only eight months, the boys are back and recording new releases with tour dates planned all over the world.
Five will be featuring at the popular bingo venue in an evening that promises to be a night of crazy games, massive tunes, dance-offs, and the much-loved crowd karaoke.
Events manager Stuart Booth said: “We are delighted to welcome Five to the club in December for our massive Christmas Party event. We have some bingo to kick the night off with, then we have our very own No Limits Bingo.
“It's bingo but not as you know it followed by a live performance featuring all the hits from Five.
“We also have a great support act in Lisa Kelsey with her 90’s show.
“Tickets are just £20 for everything and on sale now from the club or on Eventbrite.co.uk.
“We expect this event to sell out so encourage everyone to get down and buy their tickets as soon as possible.
“We still have a few tickets left for our Ultrabeat event in October but are already at 50 per cent sales.”
