About Buzz Bingo Bridlington
Buzz Bingo Bridlington (formerly known as Gala Bingo Bridlington) was located just across the street from the Promenade Shopping Centre. Right on the seafront, the decorative old building started life in 1938 as the Regal Cinema. With seating for almost 1500 visitors a ballroom and four dressing rooms, this ornate building was purchased by Star Cinema in 1969. Star Cinemas split the building with bingo downstairs, and the cinema upstairs.
Gala Bingo took then took over, and converted the whole building for use of bingo. It was then rebranded as Buzz Bingo Bridlington in 2018 before being one of 26 Buzz Bingo Clubs closed in July 2020.
